I’m in the middle of two weight loss challenges and not doing so hot. In 2005 I challenged my former roommate to see who could lose 50 lbs first after I was told by my doctor I needed to lose 40-50 lbs. I dropped 30 lbs fairly quickly by just eating right. Then I got sidetracked and stalled (I think we both did).
14 weeks ago I started another challenge with my friend Thomas to see who would be the first to lose 30 lbs. I believe he’s lost 14-15 lbs and still trucking. I’ve gained 4 lbs over the holiday season.
Figure it’s now or never. I’ll try and bust out my weight and updated photos each Tuesday as he does. Let’s make this a real race. Here’s to hoping I can knock at least three things off my bucket list in one full swoop.
I realized the camera was out of focus on the two main shots after I took the lights and backdrop down. Guess that happens when you manually focus on a white backdrop. Doh!

its hard to lose weight, let alone fast. Just give it time and work your butt off. Also be careful not to gain it back, since this is a very common thing.
Lost 12lbs… gained 3lbs at Christmas… lost 1lb… So 14st is my starting weight for 2009.
